$385 for anti Rust and can last 10 years right your SE told you? You can save it for CS-II Paint Protection System for $280 warranty for 2 years.

You can ask SE to give you System 6 PPS (1 years warranty) instead. Our land is so clean and will you drive for 10 years?

Mine free too. Anti-rust is important as we are staying in an island (generally salty environment), the weather is also quite wet and humid. But if you are looking to change your car within 3-5 years, then not necessary lah. When your undercarriage rust, then you need to spend quite a lot of money rectifying the problem. anti rust Bom

agreed......even if you're going to keep your car for 10 yrs, I dun think there going to be any corrosion ....it been a long time I last heard/seen of any corrosion problems on car.
Those days MIK car (Stella, Excel, etc...) are famous for corrosion...... anti rust Icon_biggrin

hi guys...can i sum up for my understanding? there is really no need for rust protection for under carriage.

question: what if when we scratch the underneath when we move over humps or some rough surfaces? these scratches will nob protected right? so it will rust right?

and what kind of repair or replacement costs are we looking at?

Hard to quantify.. Generally should be as follow:

Small hole = Small hole in pocket.
Big hole = Big hole in pocket.

Did you consider going for sound clad instead ?

Personally have not used or read any review on this product but understand it is a product from tuff coat......and since our Forte sound insulation is not top class...this product may help reduce the noise from passing into your car......also since the product give a coating on the whole undercarriage this may also act as anti rust coating too (juz guessing)....one stone kill two birds... anti rust Icon_biggrin

IMO anti rust is not a must in SG, not snowing here and so no need for road salting.....also our car body already galvanized so should not corrode so easily.... anti rust Icon_biggrin

bro shaq, i believe $350 include CorroGlaze as well?

If yes, then I strongly advise you not to... Cos I have done CorroGlaze and find it disappointing... Was charge $165 for CorroGlaze, learn that System 6 charges $175...

Rides that have done System 6 or CS2 have a silky smooth touch but mine dun have... I brought my ride back to Corrotec and told the boss abt this... The boss said he will do sthg but i believe he jus waxed my ride to give it the silky smooth touch... He even told me the gloss will at most last 2-3 weeks! anti rust Icon_mad

That's it! Going to redo my paint protection with CS2!

I did not do anti-rust though... But saw quite alot of cars on the road have done Tuff-Kote... You may want to consider Tuff-Kote after you have decided that you really want to do anti-rust...

System 6:
$175 for 6 mths. Every 6 mth maintenance coat think its $60 - $70.

CS 2:
$256 for 24 mths (Special rate for Forte forumer). Re-coat FOC if shine drop by 10%.

You may wanna call and check out if the pricing has changed or if you hv other enquires about their products...

Got Tuff Kote anti-rust for free. Top up $300 do Tuff Kote Sound Clad Spray-on for car undercarriage and wheel arches. If sound proofing still not good, will spend another $400 to do up Tuff Kote Spray- on for doors and firewall. That should be enough for sound proofing and anti-rust. The last thing would be Paint Protection Sealant, 1st Choice: Tough Seal (cost $400) 2nd Choice: CS-II/Proguard by Master Touch (Damage $260+/-). anti rust Icon_biggrin
