What freebies did you get for KOUP??

Hi, saw this thread recently. just signed for my koup, 1.6A racing red. Want to enquire abt the alarm. My SE said that its either u have the alarm (which is the same as the forte 1.6 ex) or u have the remote (which is the same as the forte sx models) she said cannot have both leh. cos the remote supercedes the alarm. So im kinda curious. I went for last wkend offer. 3K less promotion.

This is what I have and I believe is standard
sunroof, 17inch rims, auto fold mirror 2 airbags Leather wrap seat, wheel and gear knob, 6 cd changer, etc. too many to mention lah.

No alarm (rather worrying) for me or bears or umbrella (dnt mind cos dnt use either)

I suppose I get the additional darken tint for my windows fm rike cool.

so just checking. the thing abt the alarm and remote, u think its true?

btw what is wheel and gear knob ah?
about alarm, i believe u referring to the sound when lock and unlock?
Koup auto is push start, so no sound for lock & unlock. but shld have immobilizer. if u want sound for lock & unlock, can add must pay $ (well this is what my SE told me).

But i believe that there is some form of alarm lah. like if lets say broken in (*touch wood*), some sound will go off.

and what do u mean by additional darken tint ah? some bro here has collected their koup and noticed tt it's not tt dark btw..

Ok im not sure abt the immobilizer, but I believe they should have some form of security since it is a push start rite. What my SE told me was that if the car broken in (touch Wd), no sound one.

Means leather cover for stearing wheel and gear knob. shld be standard for all. She say cannot put a 3rd party alarm lei, cos it will supercede the remote. funny rite. I mean in future if i want to install a diff alarm system than my boot cannot be used remotely issit. Cos im intrested in bro gazoos auto start remote. tot of putting in the koup if necessary

Also, she said that all forte SX model doesnt come w alarm also ( since koup follows the Forte SX closely), just remote. remote means can lock/unlock n open boot. Im not sure cos my dad owns a 1.6 ex. that one got alarm but no remote.

what she threw in was a darker shade for my windows. The stock one already come with tinted windows but not so dark, She said she will make mine darker.

i also think there shld be some form of security. maybe need to check out more when car arrives.

btw dun tink the stock comes tinted leh. I tink only the sunroof is tinted.

actually, alarm or not, it's not a issues.. cos our s'pore too safe le... not like u always like me drives up north... den more problems....

cos for auto, it need d remote control to be inside d car, den d car can push start... if not it will not be able to star even wen u stand outside wif d control...

Ohhh...my SE never mention abt the security features, But, it make more sense now, Thanx scalar, in that case, I think the car is safe enough, just need to get a steering wheel lock when travel to msia. Anyways, did anyone top up $300 for the red leather seats?

Is your koup racing red? cos i dont noe if red leather with racing red is nice...it might be overkill..what do you guys think? the red leather will look awesome on white and black koups

d other day i was at sim lim tower, d shop quoted me $160 for a 12" cum box.... anyway, will go down again wen i'm more ready....
