F.O.G.S Retreat

I guess it's time we start to discuss on this topic and I can presume alot of us here are all over excited about this.

Details we should look into and discuss:
1) Which part of Malaysia;
2) Best available date;
3) budget;
4) Most importanly Date.

Come, let's contribute ideas and make this a memorable day to remember. Hopefully we can do it by end of this year and if possible let's make it as a yearly event.

Ahhh!! Yeah Desaru would be nice!! Havent been for years. Although its a family thing, and I might be super bored,, think I dun mind going. :-)

Just maybe have to decide which girl to bring!! Hahaha!! Then have to go make sure she wanna go with me. Hahaha. :-)

Bro kysoong, I know Pulai Springs. My parents go there every weekend for golf. Nothing much to do there except Golf and prob swim I guess. Anyways very near JB town. No point staying overnight. :-)

Personally, its personal opinion....... I dont't think this will happen, why? simply because this group is not tight enough and we do not know each other long enough for this to happen......

kapi is rite... Maybe more small interest group MU can help to bring us closer?
For small group, think any number between 3-7 is good...

Interest Group MU can be like:

3. Photography MU
4. Baby MU
5. Shopping MU (especially for our Ladies owner )
6. MJ MU (someone already organizing this...)
7. Wash-My-Car MU
8. Zhng-My-Car MU

I don't agree and definitely don't. It's not about whether we know each other Long enough anot but someone to stand out to make this happening. Bonds & mutual understanding are create eventually through this meet up and events.
It's the same as if nobody is to organize meet-up, how do we create bonds. Interacting in forums does not create bonds, they are just like cyberchat and you do not even know how they look like and what's their character like.

There's no minimum qouta for a retreat even with a small group, I suppose we can even enjoy the fun

The bonds and understanding is not there yet..... even if go overseas, each will do his/her own thing.... give more time, meet up locally, impromtu and organised, after a while, then a drive up to Malaysia will happen.....

diff pp hv diff expectations for a trip... bros with kids may feel paisei if they hv to hold up the group when kids become grouchy...

ya gazoo, like you've said participating in a forum only allow you to know the nick and not the face behind the nick...

so hopefully small MUs can allow each other to get to know each other first...

I never say it's a must retreat for this year. This threat is for dicussion for any possible and plan retreat.

My main issue is to stress out that someone have to standout to organise something if not how to create that bond or mutual relationship. This forum may go on forever, but if there is no meet-up, how to know each other well. Might as well threat this as a cyberchat and see who u interested in and ask him out (kidding) if not don't talk about the bond/closeness/or whatever.
