My xiao bai got it's first official car wash after one week. A few things i noted as i did my PPS already and since my car is virgin xiao bai ~~~ - Page 2 Icon_redface

white the specks of dirt are very obvious and when i wiped them with water i realised they become "muddy" type and become a smear.

So i tried using more water but makes the job all the harder.
I did not use car shampoo this time to test. One discovery i made was the dry cloth is the one that really cleans the car.

therefore my next car cleaning without soap since the pps is still silky smooth..

1. dust the car first
2. rinse the car with water
3. use a damp cloth to wipe the car once (however the car after wiping has to be quite dry already.)
4. Use a DRY cloth to wipe the car once more and this time use more strength on the areas with smearing (more obvious for white cars)
5. Wipe the rear rims followed by the front

Should take no more than 40min and 40 cents.

Also during this first wash, i look at my front plate and decided to do the front back swap.
Went up to get my screw driver and finished the whole swap in about 15min. One thing though, the alignment on the front is harder due to the long plate making any offset in angles obvious. Will upload later when i take a pic of my first DIY xiao bai ~~~ - Page 2 Icon_redface

The "TO RACE" did not use zippo just use strong fingers. C&C use zippo. All the logos take out liao spoilt either broken or bent. xiao bai ~~~ - Page 2 Icon_lol

aural, i'm thinking of removing the c&c logo too, but i have been driving the car for 6 months liao and mine is also white... do you think there will be a difference in colour? i.e. the patch behind c&c logo is white, and the rest of the body is more yellowish-white?

I'm not sure about it as i removed on the 8th day. Even if there is, might be a slight difference.
