Use something to polish off the white paint that came from the pillar. You could be not too badly affected.

For those who have gf or wife, be careful. If you put it in the car and it's the first time she sees it, she might asked you furiously, "This one belongs to which girl??? mad "

jus some experience to share.. unless u are very careful the use of touch up paint may not have a desirable effect if the surface was originally smooth and glossy.. this is because the applied touch up paint tends to "protrude" out and make the area where it is applied more prominent.. =)

Then how to touch up properly? I've got 5 "dots" of chipped off paint on my bonnet, confirm is due to stones. Any way to touch up?

The only feel to reduce such impacts of stones hitting the car is to protect it with waxing. But this will only reduce the damage not prevent it.

Chipped paint is the most heartpain as the only way to patch it properly is to repaint the area and those around it. It will look as good as new. Touch-up paint can't do much.

if u do this, it will be expensive.... understand what ur going thru however .....u need to be able to let go and accept that scratches, chips , dents will be part of the pain of owning a car..... no matter what u do, it will happen...so u need to decide and accept what u can control and what u cannot control....for now, touch up will be good enuf... i think.... but as some bro say here, practise ur strokes first so it will look even.... *Heartpain* Icon_smile
