Difference between 3A and 3M?

Hey guys, hope you could help me out here to understand car lingo better (new driver),
just wanted to know what is 3A and 3M as well as the difference between 3A and 3M?

Hope someone could enlighten me on this. =)

a = auto
m = manual

u talkin abt floor mat rite?? whr got 3Auto 3 manual one>!>!

Yep, thats about it. But having used 3M carmats in my previous car, the price you pay will pay for itself for its durability after a few years of usage. But if you think you will not use for too long, 3A or other similar brands are good enough.

i think use cheap and good 3a will do. 3m definitely better since it is thicker but think.....the mat will get old and dirty. if you buy 3a, the price is so cheap, you can change every year if it is dirty.

i use 3m for all my cars...

when i first started getting the 3m mats, 3a was either not around or not popular yet.. but those that were around.. you take a look at the loops.

i havent seen 3A mats.. but all the rest I have seen, cannot beat the 3 M mats loops..

the loops hold in the dirt and water droplets, so that its easy to shake off...the cheapo ones generally have dead loops which are flat, so the dirt does not really get trapped in there ...
