Stay in California, USA
In the states for two weeks for b trip and returning home tomorrow.
Below is my impression:
weather
1. Cool even in sunny days around 16deg, just like genting.
Pretty cold when it rains... Ard 12deg.
It nvr snow is it is south central.
People
1. You will see many Asian over here.
In short, ABC. Lots of them. A number of
mexicians. They are friendly people.
Even stangers will say hi to you when you are looking at them.
Cars
1. One word---- damn cheap.
Coupes is popular here.
Not Kia koup but integra, 350z, mustang, camaro, BMW
powerful car with min 300cc.
Super cheap.imagine audi 2.0T cost usd30000.
Installment up to six years with 1000usd tax a year.
Shopping.
There is a couple of designer outlets.
Models may be old and it's cheap.
Brands like couch, ck, levis , AX , timberland and etc.
My laggage is filled with coach bags.
Levis 501 is selling at usd29.90.
There is a 5% tax impose.
People over here uses credit or debit card even at food court for a usd5 meal.
Girls. You'll be happy.
Living
houses is pretty cheap.
A private property with two garades cost 400k usd.
Some of our flats in redhill is more ex than this.
Girls and guys
sad for girls, not much over here.
Guys, it is a feast to the eyes.. Real big.. You know what
I mean....
Expenses
you will find stuffs like jap, korea food beside
burgers and sandwiches. Cost around usd10 per meal.
Kind of ex.
There is no cabs over here. If you come, better drive.
If there is cabs, damn ex. Car rental ain't cheap, usd100 for
a mustang and it's left handed.
That's all. Happy reading.
FYI. Usd1=s1.4
will post some car pic when back.

They can always credit the tax.
That's their style.
Got those dirty bills monthly and pay the minimum.

Driving habits is good here.
People give way when signal and no horns
hears even it jams.
Give way to pedestrian too with a smile.
Something that we are ashamed of.

thats why their credit is so bad.... u pay minimum...
u just clear the interest and just a bit of the principal...
after a while, principal too much....then need go bankruptcy...
not good.

That's how the recession starts last year.
When people can't pay the interest after losing their jobs.

Re: Stay in California, USA
oso as far as california is concerned,
they believe too much in consensus....
that their legislators cannot make laws w/o a referendum....
thats why they have a very big deficit and cannot enact laws to increase tax as ppl will never agree to new taxes....

You are right, my brother.
Anyway, nice place for retirement.

Really like the people though.
