How to say in Hokkien? Empty How to say in Hokkien?

Post by liplip 13th March 2010, 4:39 pm

Today was at airport, parked at the loading/unloading slots to unload luggage. Cleaner auntie was kind to tell me cannot park, then continued in Hokkien of things I don't understand.

How to tell her I just want to unload luggage in Hokkien?

In the end she cannot understand my Chinese, so I said "ya ya" with a friendly smile then she shook her finger at me and said some Hokkien that I can understand "Aiyoh... ler pai ya".

Sianz... so how to say?

Hehe. Just kidding, what ozzie said is right.

Wa... with bro Redbean teaching dunno wat... danger to seek help from forum liao...

bro ozzie's "ai pang wa aei luggage" should do the trick. In case auntie does not understand "luggage", have the best term to describe that in hokkien?

And I always curious what "ba lu" means, does it mean "only"?
