My 2.0 likes and dislikes
Nice things, in no particular order:-
'keyless-go' push start, and keyless entry
sunroof with one-touch function
bluetooth
leather-stitched steering wheel and gear knob
steering wheel adjustable for reach and rake
sports-type pedals
sun visors with side extensions and clips for cards or paper
red leather seats and nicely-stitched, matching door panels
mildly sporty exhaust note
cruise control
low windnoise even with frameless windows and low roadnoise even though Kumho makes no special 'silent' claims for Solus KH17
folding mirrors (should have button to control though) - okay, found the button!
capacious interior and boot with fold-down seats
self-dimming rear view mirror
FC which ranges from 9.9 to 12 L/100km
extra-large fuel gauge
instant FC readout - so useful when one is trying to achieve max economy
sufficient power from 156bhp engine
smooth 4-speed auto; 5th or 6th gear not missed under S'pore driving conditions - my previous rides had 7-speed DSG and 6-speed tiptronic
well-designed and well-weighted gear selector which makes shifting manually a pleasure and nice feel to indicator stalk and door handles etc
power steering that is heavy enough
good visibility
generous storage bins
gorgeous looks - makes Tuscanis and Integras look so old and BMW 3s so pretentious and VW Sciroccos so impractical (and ugly to my eyes)
Not so nice:-
lack of glovebox light
lack of rear or centre courtesy lights
mirror courtesy light cannot be switched on independently of opening doors
passenger grab handle's return not damped
sickly horn
hard plastics for lower dash
seat belt anchorage has no height adjustment
lack of side airbags
'keyless-go' push start, and keyless entry

bluetooth

Re: My 2.0 likes and dislikes
I find the material of the seat belt a tad hard. You can get it changed though for less than 100 a set for better quality ones. This is of course, not perculiar only to the 2.0.
Throttle response, steering feel and brake ease in modulation are very good.
Torsion beam rear suspension is not as well sorted as an independent set up.
All said, the irratations are minor and when you pay this price, they are somewhat forgivable and become a mere 'wish list'. Nothing to complain about really.

Re: My 2.0 likes and dislikes
Welll, like what some had said at this price nothing much to complaint about only gribe is the lack of side airbag, found on forte 2.0 but not the 2.0 koup.
The other things is the 4 speed auto tranny for a 2.0 makes the 156hp seem insufficient when u need to go in a hurry, too much lag on the tranny.

Where is the mirror folding button?
I don't see any button, marked or unmarked.

Re: My 2.0 likes and dislikes
I dislike the horn and no one-touch windows up/down.
However, both can be sorted for a small sum.
I especially like the steering and brake feel, much better than my previous car.

Should be right next to your instrument cluster dimmer. A black button when pushed, it will either fold or unfold the mirrors.

I don't find the turning circle a problem.
It is much better than a FD Civic and as good as my i30.

Eh, I feel that the turning radius is indeed big ler compared to civic. yea, 2 lane U turn can be a bit tricky , have to really cut to left and then do U turn slowly.

You have to really cut to the extreme left...and even if I did that, I cannot clear the U turn in front of my house...got to reverse a bit then turn.

Re: My 2.0 likes and dislikes
I don't find any problem making U-turn with my Forte. I often have to make U-turns in a 2 lane road to enter my carpark, and I don't really need to cut to the left just to clear a U-turn. Even making the U-turn to turn into Jurong Point new carpark entrance also can be cleared.
I must admit that my old Mazda 323 turning radius feels smaller, but it is a smaller car than the Forte.

Re: My 2.0 likes and dislikes
for the price I'm paying, no complains, though people always say paying 47k for a OPC, might as well get a 2nd hand car, but then, how to resist the Koup?
