Car Alarm Empty Car Alarm

Post by joepele 7th July 2009, 11:47 am

Anyone installed this?

CARSCOP™️2-Way FM LCD Car Alarm w Remote Start & Keyless Entry

http://www.ceratoforte.forumotion.com/advertisers-f16/customised-3m-carmat-2way-car-alarm-4gb-spy-pen-motion-detecct-dvr-parking-assist-t23-50.htm#31730

from the specs, it looks quite impressive.

But have also noted this "clause"

Also if the fault is due to the keyless entry functions, pls note that
different solar film will affect how the keyless function works also
radio frequency will also affect the reception.

Am not sure what they mean by solar films....

The transmitter is located inside your car usually on the top right corner of the driver side, therefore if u have install those super duper sunfilm that need to cut a hole to expose the IU, likely it cause a problem for your alarm system in view of the controller transmission.

Some solar films are made from a super thin layer of metal which will block the transmission, that's why will need that clause.

Someone else in this forum recommended Sutera Mall where there are plenty of automotive shops a stone's throw away from the mall that is really huge and nice to shop in.

I did my alarm there too, in a shop called Hifonic (I think). Good prices, and they have the flip type available too which some forum users seem very keen to get.
