i used to share the same feeling as you whether i have made the right choice booking a forte when i gota wait & reading feedbacks about this car, C&C & etc. well, must tell u bro. i'm loving my car more each day, man! to me, this is a good car. for the price i've paid, forte is good enough for me.

which car don't give problems ... we also have to look at how it is handled and maintenance. pls compare as % to the population of this car model. its kind of the bros & sis here to share their precious experiences about their cars. but i won't magnify isolated experiences/feedbacks when i consider a car.

pls find time to go to a proper show room and test drive. i believe that its good to sit inside the car for awhile without talking/listening to anybody and have a good feel about the car at the show room. probably less than 30mins, u will know it this the right one for you. have fun, bro!

yes! i am staying v.near to admiralty MRT, but not the MSCP you mentioned (opposite SMRT rite?) me staying on those ugly blue tone zone 600+ (haaa..just kind of dislike after the repaint 2 years back..haa) .. no harm if we could organize for a meet up... oh.. to kia11 too haaa..

BTW, as mentioned in another discussion, my car 'kena' scratched < 1/2 day after collection.

There could be some green eye monsters ard W'lds. WATCH OUT!

talk about scratches ... haiz ... yesterday help out at my friend's wedding. 1 of the sis tie ribbon on my car door but made 5 scratches around 1 of my car door handle. she so rough one! i want to faint.

dinner at sentosa ... along the way kana stone chip off my paint and some scratches as there are road work there. heart pain more than 24 hrs liao .... still bleeding.

the hong bao i get not enough to recover my car's paint work.

i love my "woodland xiao hei" (my little black car) mah. i personally wash my car few times a week one leh. each time i wash, my fingers run through the scratches and chipped off paint ... i heartache! i used the paint protection lotion to reapply many times around the scratched handle area for almost 1 hr ... some scratches got lightened.

hi impact bro, thks for asking. garmin (255w) gps is good ... but sometimes kept routing me out of high way and laggy when out of tunnel. probably that's the common trait of gps (me not sure). i've thought about it to propose to garmin adding another function to avoid ERP just like they've current option to avoid u-turn & etc. keke

my colleague has a taiwan brand gps which doesn't have CTE. keep showing her that she is at mandai zoo area when she is far from it at CTE. so i can't complain my garmin.

i would say some time is user problem also ... hehe ... either i went too fast for gps to react in time (over shot) or i thought i know the place but i got lost all over the place. hahaha

Is yours 3D map with Junction view... I believe it should be able to help reduces human error when reach a junction.. Sometimes i do agree GPs can be misleading too..

To avoid ERP, I think you need to turn on the avoid "Toll Roads" at tools/settings/navigation/avoidances/toll roads

No 3D map but has junction view. ok with the map ... just hope that it can react faster than me. so that i can save some petrol.
