10k servicing

any1 send their car to cnc for 10k servicing...?
how much do they charge with full synthetic oil??
i guess theres no free labour charges right?

or u guyz start to send to outside workshop?
any recommend??

I think the guys here would pref Comfortdelgrow than to go to C&C.

haaa... during my servicing.. not too sure.. if forte.. (very likely..) its like 100+ but free umbrella! haaaa...
think free labour is only for 1st 2 time only... for 10k think need to pay liao wor...

i also prefer to go comfordelgo to do servicing after the free servicing by CnC

I believe most of the bros here rather void the warranty than go back and let them chop carrot.
Anyway warranty only cover engine compartment.

hard to decide, till now i am still thinking to do outside or to go back to C&C for 10k, price is exp, somemore oil not the good type, just some normal oil.

i tot first 3 service is free?

i was told 157, is for synthetic oil+labor.
mine is gg 2 deal for 10k service next week, so in dilemma now

only first 2 servicing is free for labour. So at 5K can ask them change full synthetic oil.

so i got another freebie.... my se if i recall correctly mentioned first 3 is free labour.... need to check if written in the contract....

but i think also not much choices ley, i might go back LK cos the service still ok, expect for the fact that the free car wash gave me some minor scratches from their clothes.

I always wash myself, if not i leave it to the CS-II professionals.

before i couldn't see those circular lines on my bonnet, after my 5k i notice those circular lines....

so if i go next time, i won't ask them to wash my car at all. arghhhh

My friend lancer GLX been there for servicing for few times. The workmanship is cheap like 10-50RM depend what type of servicing and part replacement need to be done. Change engine oil engine, oil/air filter and spark plug is not expensive. But don't buy the oil or spare part from them. Buy from here is cheaper bring there and let them do for you.

You can email or call them and ask.

Can bring own e/oil also.

I just did my 10k servicing at J.B but bring my own oil and filter..... really very cheap. still got left over oil for my next servicing. hehee...

What brand of engine oil and oil filter you had bought. How much?

$157 ... That's what C&C is charging.... I think outside is less than $100 inclusive of synthetic oil?

was sent my forte for 10k servicing at LK... advise to do the wheel rotation n engine flushing also... total damage were appx 250.

today found that my spare tyre still new & lay at my boot instead of been used for rotating as per the owner manual...#x%#X and seem never inspect n pump my spare tyre.. luckily check at my own

what service is it?? take money never do a per spec?? like that how can we confirm that perform the servising as per quote/spec ???

call the customer service and been told that need to talk to the service advisor.. but service advisor is attended to other ppl... n gave me his mobile... call & never answer / reply

Too ex to service at CnC. I've decided to service at either stamford tyres at $118 (caltex syn oil, filter, tyre rotate) or autobacs at $88 or $98 (syn oil + filter only). Just need to purchase aircond filter from outside and DIY. Total cost still less than $157 and dun need to wait for half a day+++............

actually, i want to do outside, but just that i need to resolve the paint wear off at rear bumber (not chip, but got a spot like color change, appear sine 1st day, n complaint to SE, so paint problem is on thier cost) .. thats y sent in to settle at 1 off..

like that, can u believe the using shell helix syn oil as claim? etc..

still waiting their reply on my feedback.. if next few days still no reply, then will consider write in to the big boss

plugs can last longer than that.

I think manual stated plugs to change at 20,000km.

change to the iridium type is better. costly but can last longer. the oem ones are copper. not that good.

10K and they advised u to do engine flush??....they really want to carrot u to the max.....

maybe they also never do engine flush. were you there to see them flush the oil?

im due for 2nd servicing soon .... 1st servicing was ard $45++ .... 2nd $51++ .... 3rd $157??!!

Is labour reaaly that exp ? Btw, really can ask them change to syn oil during 2nd servicing ?? At an extra cost i presume

157 is only labour excluding all parts and synthetic oil..

i believe $157 includes filter, oil and o-ring/washer for filter + labour. Additional cost goes to tyre rotation, engine flush, etc.

and is tire rotation needed too?

tyre rotation is recommended for every 10k... actually pay $18 (w/o GST) for it during the 10k servicing last week

i mean charge money..

1 qn: which grade of engine oil to buy? i see alot of 5w40 selling everywhere but is it suitable for forte? and oso dunno which brand to go for.

any other thing recommended to change/service besides the standard? paiseh 1st timer here

I think 5w40 is good enough for forte.....
