For all those interested can contact JP Works:
JP WORKS : 92760226
As for the bubbles, the shots was taken right after application. As for me, I don't really mind coz the look is all I am aiming for. Nice guy, very recommended.

if u spray, after some time of usage of the handle, the paint will start to chip off bit by bit

Re: KURO ... de-chrome project
thanks for the tip
did ask my SE about the option of not having chrome handles before i got it but seems like i just have to live with it.

Re: KURO ... de-chrome project
FYI, i tried doing the carbon fibre sticker (DIY) yesterday.. spend 5 hrs on it.. now my pillars, rubber frame along the windows plus the rear triangle windows r covered with CF.. not too difficult but workmanship not as pro lor.. the bubbles happen if air is trap in the sticker.. i onli have one small area got this.. later will try to remove the bubble =) im thinking of doing interior now.. but will change the CF to the glossy kind for interior.. cheers! =)

http://www.ceratoforte.forumotion.com/meetup-planning-polling-discussion-f24/10th-meet-up-29-jan-2010-t3107-300.htm#126244
It's today. About 8-9pm, Kallang MacDonald, then the whole gang convoying to Marina... it'll be fun
I also doing CF for the first time, never did anything on my previous ride, kana poison by this forum
I didn't do the side mirror, but I think you need a hair dryer to stretch the CF to make it stick nicely bec the surface is very curved

My 1K servicing is up. Any tips on a new owner to how to send for ur servicing?
KURO- Junior Member
Re: KURO ... de-chrome project
if u can come early... no need to register but if u will be late... better register...
send in the car then leave ... no need to wait 3 hrs there... they will call u when ready...
note all ur scratches, take a pic as proof (whether u have or not)... just in case ur car have new designs when u collect.....
and go LK. PG service is becoming notorious.

I bought my CF in a little sticker shop in Changi Village - not cheap and only one design to choose
Scorpey's lobang is better: shop name is ISS, at Ubi Ave 3, Blk 3004, ground floor. CF comes in standard width: 120cm. This shop sells 1m length @ $50+ and according to Scorpey: they have quite a few designs to choose BUT they don't do installation

When u said LK is it the LK CnC service centre? Not the KIA showroom area one right? Now my meter reads 929KM. Tmrw I off day so not sure can send it now or wait till 1000KM.

Re: KURO ... de-chrome project
Guys, jus to update i manage to cover many parts with CF stickers.. now front grill (incl K emblem), side pillars (incl rear triangular piece), rubber strips accross the windows, rear bumper, side mirror all in CF sticker.. i oso bot another glossy type for interior.. so far gear knob n small compartment box @ front passenger seat done up with this glossy kind.. really cheap for this sticker $6+ for 500mm run.. but less workable as compared to 3M type..
siaoster >> thanks, a bit hard on the side mirror but still manage to do it.. jus not so nice cos lower portion not 100% covered as im running low of CF sticker..
Sorry TS to "hi jack" ur thread to do my CF update.. anyway no harm to share ya? after my project complete will show u guys some photos maybe? cheers n happy CF sticking!!

Re: KURO ... de-chrome project
Just changed my stock rims to Racing Hart 17" Matte Black. Will post some pics soon. Current damage is 680 with trade in. Did it at POH HENG today. Damn hot weather man...
KURO- Junior Member
Re: KURO ... de-chrome project
Actually the pic was taken right after installation. The 'SCRATCH' is the effect of the residue they put to place the rims in the wheels. I have checked and it looks fine. Also to note, any matte black surface will have that appearance on first inspection.

Re: KURO ... de-chrome project
Oh... ya, it's like a lubricant thing to squeeze the tyre around the rims... NICE!

Re: KURO ... de-chrome project
woohoo.. nice rims.. the project coming together one piece at a time... all the way bro!!

UPDATES
Here is the first step to my dream of a fully matt black car.
Will update again soon. Currently my 'mechanic' , JP WORKS, is busy.
