March 1st COE bidding. How much did C&C bid for you

im kind of furious too.. i have sold my old car for the new one ... but now gonna wait.. n not sure whether are they able to bid for me the next one.. if keeps on waiting... i have no car to drive. Any reasons why their SE's bosses cant bid higher abit? sianz....

congrats those got in first time with non guarented COE ( without paying additional 2k as SE asked).
Any idea why they bid high for some one and low for some though all paid same list price.
Mine was bid at 19k only. donot know the reason.

bought mine last week 1.6 SX with SGD 57999.This first bid with SGD 19001 by CC but fail. Before i sign on last week, my se told me with my buy price i should have high chance to get but it seem like not true.... have to wait another 2 week. IF COE keep heading north sure my SE will ask me top up to bid my COE, already hinted to me today.

Congrate to those have sucessful getting their COE on this round.

i don't think they keen to sell now, market too good for them. My SE just call said top up SGD2000 if wish to get car, if not chances are less for the next upcoming 5 bids. SIANZ ....

I did not get Coe at the first time.
That time is 19k + and bid at 18k+.
Result:outbidded.

2nd Coe did not submit bid.
This time, confront SE.
Explain that shipment had not arrive and worry Coe become high....

3rd Coe.
Submit bid as early as 130pm on the third day at 21k+ and got it.


Conclusion.
Need to be rough sometimes.

The price of the kia cars are increasing alot.. they expect the coe to rise more.. now 1.6l sx auto cost 58999 after this weekend will hit 59999.. wow.. they increases alot..

My se have just called mi, she told mi that the coe price will increase as gov will cut 30% of the number of coe.. =( So she advice mi to top up 2k to secure my coe.. should i? haix..

cos after 5 bid, the top up price will be more than 2k.. so either i risk now or just top up the 2k cos i bought during the 2k promo so is like no discount.. =(

i bought 1.6l koup auto at 61999 so if i top up 2k will be 63999.. but c&c currently selling at 64999 w/o secure coe..

my SE advised me to top up too, and i was quite adamant as to paying nothing more than the agreed price. but after some thinking,

a) my current car, the quotation given is up to end march. my SE told me that republic auto will give some leeway, and extend the quotation till apr or so.

the quotation they are offering is just enough for me to redeem my bank loan without topping up any cash.

b) the COE looks like it would be on a upward trend come april, due to the reduction in COE.

c) i would not want to top up, but thinking along that line, that should i continue on letting them bid for me, and for example, come april, they will to revise the quotation for my current car downwards till a point that i would need to top up cash to redeem my loan, and suay suay C&C secure the COE come May, i would still have to pay cash to redeem my loan.

d) i am reluctant to pay 2k to top up, bang a bit of table, SE say will check if 1K will be suffice.

now, i am in a catch 22 situation, where if i fail to secure the next COE, i will still have to top up, either the COE or my car redemption.

looking at the cost price of my car, assuming that the OMV is 15k, COE is 20k, i think C&C really have no margin to bid any higher.

i booked a 1.6SX auto, without BK at 55,499, and failed to secure my COE the last round.

yes received call to top up 2k. wat's the point they sell the car cheap and ask u to top up coe. back at square one. refuse to top up. cannot get after 5 bids i drive my old car till 10 years save money also.

I think majority did top-up 2K (most gave up on their 2K pre-launch discount) as they have already decided on getting a new car....

Today my SE told ne CC bid for 400 kias this time of whch only 1/4 are sucessful (Those agreed to topup2k more he said). even 10 of those agreed for 2k top up didnt get as CC bid slighly lower for them. He said today they hv mtg with his mgr for nxt coe bidding 24t march amt??? any one with more news to share ??

Just spoke with my friend is a SE at Ubi.

He said those who want to "kenna" the COE to top-up 2k, else it's touch and go.

The Transport Ministry today announced that the COE's are going to be based on the actual number of deregistered cars and expired COEs and they even gave an example.

So, in short, with fewer COEs, the price of COEs and cars will rise. I feel that now it's THE time to buy IF you NEED to.

Thankfully, I secured my COE last month's 2nd bidding at $20,340

Bad news, rumors that CNC Kia is increasing the car price for Forte...... Those bro who wanna buy the car, better act fast...

Supply - As confirmed in today's parliament, COE supply will be reduced significantly from April due to the smaller number of deregistered car......

Demand - From the large number of unsuccessful bidders in yesterday COE bidding, we know that there will be a big demand in the next bidding....

Some SE's think that we should also update ourselves via the internet, some make it a point to update you. It's called "service".

We all know that if we want something, we will get it. Just like now new rules for HDB buyers who are made up of 1 Singaporean & 1 PR (TOP-UP $10k cash over selling price of the home and reduced grant by $10k CPF) unless their child/children are Singaporeans than status quo though is comes back to the same figure as it's a matter of cash or grant.

But back to the COEs, if we really want or need the car, we pay
