Personally I feel that the Kia Koup looks nicer, but the genesis packs more punch in specs

It's been out for quite some time liao, it's fast gaining popularity as a cheap track car. In fact it fails in the category as a competitor as its performance is better than the forte.

The chevo cruze is the one that's should giving forte the run for the money.

hyundai have coupe for so many years.. naturally their specs/looks/stability/handling will be better than Kia after so much bad reviews in their hyundai coupe.. so lets welcome their genesis =)

I will say can't compare Gensis 3.8L vs Koup 2L or a 2L Genesis vs a 1.6L. It's far too different.

I've done extensive research on both the Genesis Coupe and the Kia Forte/Cerato Koup, and while the Hyundai's specs are more impressive performance wise, The styling and comfort of the Koup are much better in my opinion. I've never owned a front wheel drive car before, so at first I was drawn to the Hyundai, but after driving the two cars, and sitting in them for extended periods of time, the Koup won my heart. I just wish KIA would offer it with a Turbo from the factory. I'd love it if the Koup had the 2.0 liter Turbo that the Hyundai I drove had.
