4th Meet Up - West Side Convoy

Dear All West Siders.......

I know its a long way more to go, but I think we should start planning for our convoy to the East. Hehehe!! Think there are quite a number of us in the West side so I think we should decide on a meet up point. Also, to find out who knows the way to the 4th Meet Up so can lead the way. I shall start a list so we know who is going and who is gonna convoy there. Also, please let us know your contact if you can so we can contact each other. This is especially for new comers who dunno anyone else here. Also, beside your name and contact number, please indicate where you prefer for the convoy meet up point.

IMO, the most direct route from the west...

1. From Jurong, Take PIE(Tuas)--->KJE--->BKE---->SLE--->TPE,

2. Exit at Jalan Kayu (TPE Exit 12)

3. You'll see a round-about (Piccadilly Circle) go around it and head straight into Jalan kayu.

4. Travel along Jalan Kayu (Prata land) for about 700-800m and turn left just infront of the ESSO station to Seng Kang West Way.

5. Turn Left at the following junction into FernVale Rd.

6. Travel along Fernvale Rd and you'll reach the park in no time.

The Park will be on your left. Smile

Be careful of convoy especially with newbies drivers, need lanes disciplines...I have seen own members langa into each other during convoy and it left a sour afternote....and take note of other motorists on the road, don't drive like u own the road just bcos u r in a pack.....

haiya the easy way to reach is

Aye -> CTE -> exit YCK -> Jalan Kayu -> exit right when you see esso petrol station at your left -> At first traffice light (cross junction) turn left -> Then go all the way and you will see the park

Shortest route doesnt mean fastest..
Imagine all the red plates going out @ that time.. AYE CTE direction vs CTE to town direction.. ALL JAM like siao....

May I suggest.. U pp meet up some where Mid of North West..
Find PIE, BKE or Shoot up to BKE direct...join .SLE,/TPE.. then exit TPE then next exit Punggol/Sengkang. CONFIRM + CHOP MUCH MUCH faster...

Don think will need much of GPS.. .I heard the previous convoy session to Westcoast Mac was a disaster.

haha guys, let the organiser post the route, anyone has better route, PM the convoy organiser and let the convoy organiser update the thread accordingly, so as to prevent confusion if everyone start posting routes and

make sure everyone is familiar with the route. incase when breaks convoy, they can travel back the planned route in hope to catch up with the rest. (NOT encouraging speeding of course)

remember rules of the road......ones the first few cars cross a traffic junction, beware that some guys wont be in the favour to cross so stop at the side and hazard light, unless u guys wanna split in the end or hatever practice u guys had.at last some go by sle, some by pie, some by JB.keep it safe..

Well, actually the best is go in batches of 3 to 5. But then that means quite a few drivers have to know the way. :-)

Dunno. Think will plan something soon. Race Queen and her King wanna take charge?? I super busy this couple of weeks. Now still in office!! Sigh..... :-(

Planning to do it thursday. Cos they say need 1 full day. So put it in in the morning before work then collect after. Cos thursday open until 9. Doing at LengKee. If other days, close at 6 and I doubt I can make it there on time to collect.
