I remember in UK they used to sell in like phone shops. Like in those shops equivalent to like Singtel. :-)

Or maybe get those huge ass ones like police standard issue?? :-)

I dun think police is using VHF most likely HF where quality is bad anyway if u want sim lim square got alot there is also a motorola agent there at 2nd floor. i bought mine 12 mile at $125 /pair last time

Ohh I managed to get hold of a walkie talkie. Dunno whether only 1 or a pair. Tonite gonna collect. Should be able to get the same frequency right?? No matter what the model?? :-)

We have 5 ppl on the list, if I get a pair, then only short of 1 person dun have thats all. :-)

I can share share experience.... Good fun.....
Firstly, tune to preset channel that all agree on
For example main channel 10, sub channel 5..
All tune to same channel then all can any anything 1 fella is saying..
The only diff is that.. some set can receive longer range then others. Thats where the price comes in.....
Some also have vibrator mode.
Sim Lim Tower 2nd floor is a good place to get @ competitive price. Else you can try the Shinco or Akira brand selling @ departmental stores.. with shorter ranger.. Cheaper too....(which i don really recommend unless u wanna let ur kids play play only)

Good for convoy.... Tested and proven while driving up to KL.... Front car Horlanded.. rear car WARN THEM......

Sometime . .hear POLICE CHANNEL
SOME TIME even other group pp convoy.... intercept same channel...

Yoz guys, do you all wan to convoy to MCD and then once you all reach I'll lead u all there. Cos I will be wif leedevil at MCD doing something before going down to the meet-up place.
