Post by chernobyl 15th October 2009, 11:57 am

Hi all, heard from SE saying that our ride dun have the standard alarm... as in the sound (like forte sedan version). Only lock and unlock function plus boot release. wondering how many of us are intending to change to aftermarket alarm with sound?

boot release can be incorporate into your after market alarm.. just need to add in a relay only..

Why not try surf for more alarms products.. No need to restrict yourself only to the alarms here in this forum. Smile

Ya, many other alarms out there in the market. Give it a shot, you may be able to find a "diamond"?

If find one... must share ah...

Just to clarify that only EX has alarm as they are locally fitted. SX got only SILENT alarm.. Security Alarm Icon_eek .. I wonder what's is the silent alarm for when alarm is supposed to be noisy... hahaha Security Alarm Icon_razz

"Silent" Alarm = transponder + panic button

Bascially this transponder is only to LOCK/UNLOCK only, sound off panic alarm when you press to search for your car in the carpark... So basically it won't sound off even there is a forced intrusion.. Hope this will clear your doubts. Don't get trick by your SE when they tell you got original alarm..
