Re: forte braking system
I find the braking pretty ok though i havent try e-braking.
Anyways, why you find it 'buay jiat' ?
I think better not change here and there. Later lagi 'buay jiat' then worse.

Re: forte braking system
what's your mileage?
decent braking 'upgrade': New brake pads, Stainless Steel Brake Hoses
this should be more than sufficient to give u the jiak feeling.

Upgrade right foot.
Adjust balance to be heavier on brakes and lighter on accelerator.

Re: forte braking system
think can check out Huat Lee at Kaki Bukit..do a search, I forgot exact address.
TRW brake pads are good enough, progressive yet give bite when you need it..
Brands like EBC, VTTR might be overkill though..remember to ask for brake pads suitable for street driving..you don't want overly jiak too.

Re: forte braking system
your car is still very new leh..
maybe it's your driving style? give it some more time, hopefully you'll get used to it..stock braking i feel is sufficient enough if you are not a chiongster. Even on SG roads, how fast can you chiong right..
but if really want to change..change your brake pads first. then see how..

Re: forte braking system
I also find it hard to catch at first but after awhile i'm used to it and now i can brake smoothly. I think it takes some time to season the brakes or mayb ur right foot.

Re: forte braking system
Sometimes it is the tyres.....
This is not scientific but my personal view.....
When I'm using Michelin tyres, I think they are hard and they tend to, er..., jiak easily and stop easily...
When I do a tyres change to a softer, and more comfortable and quieter tyres....the braking distance increases and I tend to feel the car braking movement when I do hard braking...
If it is not the tyres, than you could consider brake bleeding...something I learned first time in this forum....Couldn't find the link...but Google will turn up articles on it...
here's one...
